I braved the mall on Saturday (I wasn’t brave enough to try the Friday after Christmas). The discounts were okay. I saw lots of additional discount like “50% off original plus an additional 20% off.” The foot traffic was not as crowded as I thought it would be. I was still able to walk comfortably around the mall without too many “Excuse me, coming through.” Parking was a breeze. Overall, no complaints.

Yes, I noticed the closer to Christmas, the better the sale. That’s why I tend to wait until Christmas Eve to shop for gifts (especially those for myself). Even right after Christmas, the prices get slashed a little more so that people will buy more when they go back to do returns or use up those gift cards.
